the King James Bible Is the Preserved Word of God |
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Psalm 12:6-8 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
Note: In dealing with the textual issue we do
not play favorites or plant ourselves in anyone's camp. You may find
quotes here from someone you don't like. If you can't handle the fact
that there are people not like you
who love the KJV, this is probably not a place that will bless you a whole
lot. If you, on the other hand, are simply looking for edification or
clarification or to be reminded of how miraculous God's preservation of
His word is - without having to have all your information come from one
or two favorite sources - then you will probably be blessed here. :-) I
will strive to avoid accidentally using anything from heretics or wicked
people.
