QUIET DIVERSION

Some things that make a heart merry, as Solomon said,
Proverbs 17:22 (KJV) A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

And....
Proverbs 15:15 (KJV) All the days of the afflicted are evil:
but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

ADVICE

Nine Healthy School Lunch Tips for
Sending Kids Back to School:

1. Water, water, water. Always send water.
2Send 100% juice once or twice a week, as a treat. Drinking fountains can be germ laden.
3. Variety. Try not to send the same lunch two days in a row.
4. Use ice packs to keep drinks cold and lunch fresh.
5. When children participate in making their lunch they are more likely to eat it.
6. Tell children to eat what they want and bring the rest home. This way you know what your child ate and there is no pressure to throw away uneaten food.
7. Try to discourage sharing food. This avoids accidental share with kids who have food allergies and also keeps unwanted junk food from being shared with your child.
8. Use nitrate / nitrite free lunch meat. Organic and natural keep the brain brighter.
9. Peel and cut fruit, such as oranges. Kids are more likely to eat something if it doesn’t take extra time to peel or mess with. Lunch is short and most children are in a hurry to get on the playground.

I am getting very little mail from this
section of our journal.

I would dearly love to hear from anyone
who stops here and is blessed and helped.

You need to believe that there is NO section more
important to me, in this journal, than the Quiet Place.
